Well
1. its way stronger than stock
2. it has a lifetime warranty against bends cracks and breakage (this is will be my 3rd axle)
3. longer axle means wider stance which means better cornering.
but that is not why im getting it i have realtor tires with ITP rims and its wide enough but with the new axle i can turn the tires around and get the perfect stance for my type of riding.
Hope this helps you to understand why <IMG SRC="http://forums.atving.com/ubb/smile.gif">
