I-D-10-T those are the best kind lol. Man the first question i gotta ask is why is a school still running win98
I got this from the microsoft knowledge base:
Error code 10043 indicates that the TCP/IP stack is not being initialized. This error can occur if you have TCP/IP files with a .386 extension in your Windows folder from the Microsoft Windows for Workgroups 32-bit TCP/IP stack
the link below is to the full page
I hope this helps, it really doesnt say anything about this happening while pinging loopback but hey, im a pc tech and these things never cease to amaze me

cuz our school sucks....lol our budget is rather limited. That is why I, a student, have to fix them...I have been doing it for the past couple of years now...not a penny given to me for it. but yeah it isnt the OS that sucks it's our computers...have you ever heard of QUANTEX! dunn dunn dunn.....
and as far as the .386 files go...tried to rename them...didnt work.
ohh and what is a I - D - 10 - T error?? thought I would ask...I am always wanting to learn more about computers.
