Wheels for '04 Eiger
#1
Are there any aftermarket wheels available? The Eiger wheels are pretty plain looking.
I must say, I took this quad down a an extremely steep grade(appx 15-20%) through a river and snow. It was my first real test of it's capabilties. As I got to the bottom of the ravine and crossed the river it had dawned on me what if I have gone to far. The trek back up is on pine needles so I knew it was going to be slippery. I flipped the Eiger into 4wd and it was a cake walk. I am quite amazed with these ATV's. This is my first one and know there are probably better ones but the Eiger performs very very well.
I am going to set up a website soon with some pics. I just bought a Drag Harrow for cleaning up my property. I have a culvert that needs to be cleaned for fire purposes mandated by the CDF. Started to rake them then got the idea with the Warn Winch and Harrow. Figured I will toss it down and drag the pine needles up.
I am also looking for a ATV club out here in Central California. I would like to hang with some people that go into the back woods and go to lakes to fish and camp

Hey there, and welcome to the forums!
ITP makes wheels and tires for any quad out there, so I would suggest checking here. Look at the C-Series and Delta wheels. They also make some good tires too. I would recommend buying new wheels and tires as a set, instead of buying new wheels and putting your stock tires on. Pick up the April issue of DirtWheels and you'll find a big spread advertisement on ITP, and you can also browse the ads and vendors in the magazine for good places to buy your wheels. I use Rocky Mountain ATV for most of my parts. Give them a call and they should be able to send you a big catalog. You can also check High Lifter ATV, and they have tire spec charts, application charts. They are a utility quad company, so they should have a bunch of stuff too. I'm not into 4x4 quads and I don't have one, but this should get you started in the right direction. Good luck.

Welcome to the forum and CONGRATULATIONS on the new Eiger!
Now go get a in-line fuel filter, pronto! This is the biggest problem with the E and can be cured in 5 min and for $4.
ITP makes some good looking wheels and everybody makes tires that fit.
4x4 mode is awsome!
If you drop into a hole with 4x4 engaged and you start to flip over the handlebars you can goose it and the front wheels will pull you out.
Have you run over any trees yet? you can knock down some decent lil trees and run over them in a tight spot. I've climbed some gnarly looking hills on mine
Superkev gave you some excellent sites. I recommend you visit both.

Eigerbever,
I frequent the Madera/Fresno Area. I will primarily use this up in the Eastern Sierra's towards Shaver Lake area. Between Shaver Lake and Huntington Lake is alot of forest area. I was up there this past weekend driving around and saw a TON of trails to just take off on. Some look like old fire roads.
I know where Lemoore is and your south. Shot me an e-mail and let me know when you plan on riding around. Summer is on it's way here and the valley will get very hot soon.
Best Regards
Jeff
