Default Where's the green wire??

I can't seem to find the rev limiter wire on my son's '03 lt50. Also, does it hurt the motor if you cut the wire? Thanks in advance.

The green wire you have read about is a jumper on the E-Ton cdi. I have no idea what green wire on the LT50 you are referring too, but I can guarantee the results will not be good if you cut it.

As far as I know the only limiters on the lt50 are the throttle screw. the washer in the exhaust and the major restriction in the intake pipe between the carburator and head. If you remove the intake restrictor and mod the little air cleaner cover you can jet up a bit. These things seemed to help my kfx 50 (same as lt 50) a bunch!

I think they have a limter in the carburator too. To keep it from opening 100%.
