starting without electricity

Default starting without electricity

hey i saw somone do this before and i just wanted to know how to do it. he was on his blaster and the engine wasn't running and went down a hill and quickly i think shifted into gear and it started. how do u do this?

Dude, do you really have to ask. It's pretty simple. Just put it in second or third and roll the machine forward...pop the clutch and it should start.

Some call it bump starting. Key has to be on. the wheels turning, thru the tranny, spin the motor, instead of using the starter. Just put it in 3 rd gear, pull in the clutch, get rolling, and let the clutch out. An auto clutch quad can do this too, just put it in 2nd, hold the shift lever up, get rolling, let go of the shift lever, and itll start.

If you try this on your 300ex, do it in a higher gear, i rolled mine down our old steep driveway, let out the clutch in 1st and at about 10/12 mph, it came to a screeching hault.
