im not particullarly a banshee man but they are quite fast quads, they have a ton of top end power but are really lacking down low so it takes some experience to keep it in the meat of the powerband. i dont no if u no about two stroke maintnence but it aint no 250ex. there is a lot more work invloved as far as maintnence goes.

some trial (very rare), but mainly just round fields and race tracks. Ive been riding 6yrs now and can really throw a quad about. Yeah i heard about the maintenance part. I was told aslong as i do all the right maintenance it will be fine for about 5yrs, but if anything does go wrong i have someone i work with does motorcross so he could fix it.

A banshee is fun to ride around big fields, but for race conditions, the suspension sucks. 2-strokes are still good mxers but 4-strokes seem to be taking over.
I noticed you are in the UK. In my opinion, I think you should get something that you can get parts for easily and that you dont have to pay a lot for the quad.

Go ahead and get the Banshee, you'll soon be thinking why didn't I do this sooner. The Banshee is such a unique machine, everyone should try one at least once. Those of you that own Banshee's know what I'm talking about. Don't be too concerned about maintenance. My Banshee (2000) is just having it's first top end done. I'm picking it up this saturday from Dynoedge in Michigan where they have done a fresh top end, wiseco pro-lite pistons, aggressive porting and they just called and said shee's ready. Dyno'ed at 58 HP and I'm ready for that! Good Luck!
