Nother ATC!!!
#1
My Dad picked up an '84 ATC 200s from a guy who said that his little brother broke it, and theyu didnt want to mess with it. The guy had it in his pick-up, and was about to dump it. My Dad talked to him, and everything was in great condition, such as the plasticks, headlight, and everything else. My Dad only paid $25 for it. So now we have another project. Does anyone know what these ATCs were made for?
And how fast are they? thanks guys, Ryan

The 200S replaced the 185S and was Honda's "Recreational" use ATC for the 200 class. It fit between the 200ES and 200X.
Top speed is between 50 and 55mph. It was only a tick slower than the 185S it replaced, but not because of a lack of power. Honda simply geared it a bit on the low side.
That trike will easily pull gearing to put you in the 60mph range without sacrificing alot of bottom. Just go down a few teeth on the rear....or jump up to a 12T on the front.
Good luck with your new project!!

The 250 sx was one of my favorite trikes. It is one of those "best of both worlds" bikes. (Kind of like the Yamaha Wolverine ). It has sporty power and suspension but still has a shaft drive, electric start, and reverse. It can be equipped with racks and a tow hitch (not sure if the tow hitch was standard or optional).
Of course a jack of all trades is never a master of any. It just does everything pretty well.
I guess it is a wheelie master though
