Silver lake is going to enforce a 94 DB limit this year....

i currently have the White brothers pipe with 12 discs (which of course if i didnt get in, i could just go down to like 8, get in and put em back in if need-be)

im considering the HMF.... but i want to know how loud it is....

If i did get it, i would be buying the Quiet core And the sparky for it

does anyone have how many DB the HMF either with or without the QC and Sparky, or DB on the White brothers?

if i cant get the hmf down to around 94 with those two, i probably wont try the pipe, just because it would be sucky to drive 6 hours to get turned back....

 

For the more restrictive places, I really like my Mr. HP End cap considering I can switch to the stock cap in less than five minutes placing me into the perfectly legal range anywhere for anything. If you still have your stock pipe, it is something to consider. Also if the LTE duals work out as well as they should that could also be a nice spark arrested, sound legal option that produces good power.

I know my E-Series isn't quiet, though it's not as loud as a RWR pipe. Not sure how loud the HMF is, though it's not going to be 94 (I don't know where it would rate with the quiet core, I've only seen one without.)

 

The FMF Powercore 4 with the quite core insert will get you to 93db. I have it on my DS for sound checks then just pull it out for riding after I get my sticker.
