I have a 04 500 sportsman. How do I get the flashing wrench off the screen?

 

You need to go into the Diagnostic Mode by shutting off the ignition & wait 10 seconds , put tranny in neutral, turn on ignition while holding override button in. You will then get a code that looks like 1/20 or similar. Your maintenance interval is likely expired so you need to change it. If for example you want to have it remind you of an interval at 100 hours you need to see how many hours you actually have on the quad, subtract that from 100, and enter the product of that equation in the maintenance prompt. It will count down those hours and flash that wrench when your due again. Above all, read your manual, it explains it there too.
