Which one would win in a drag? A friend of mine has a Lakota that's got a DG pipe, jet, K&N, and 110 octane gas and he claims he'll be able to smoke me. My Warrior is stock besides bars/handguards, tires/wheels.

 

First things first, slap him for using 110 gas. If you dont need it then it costs you power. More octane means less volatility.

I don't know too much about a Lakota, but I know I was able to spank a 400EX without my carb even tuned in right (running rich). That should give you an idea of what the Warrior is able to do. One suggestion, get rid of that stock warrior pipe, and the carb if you can. If you look at the inner side of the stock pipe you'll agree on how terrible it's restrictive, and when you take it off you'll notice how heavy the piece of junk weighs. Just giving you some tips if you lose that's all!!!

 

When I get my tax money back maybe I'll get an E-series or HMF. I managed to outrun a stock 2002 Scrambler 500 so hopefully the Lakota won't be a problem.

 

the lakota is a nice bike but the warrior will win. I have a 89 mojave with just a pipe,filter,with stock gear,and board 50over. and It will some that lokata. Me and my brother race the mojave and the warrior and the warrior just pulled away without no prob.
