If so, did it come with some sort of spacers? I wanted to remove the plastic covering the primary drive, but realized I couldn't with some sort of spacers to hold the case saver in place. Anybody have an aftermarket one and if you do, does it need to have the plastic covering for the spacer it provides?

I got a case saver and it didnt need any spacers, I took off the plastic and metal half moon thingy and bolted it right up. Maybe they didnt ship all the parts?

I got one off of ebay from a guy that was making them. They are made from billet aluminum and Nylon and works great. Had a friend use one of those full aluminum ones and when his chain broke it snapped the screws and case!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] The nylon will flex and not destroy the case. Hopefully that holds true on mine.
