What is the best set up for a stock carb, I here that the stock set up is poor

I pick it up From the dealer on wedensday I had a look at Mr hp site already and have contacted him about an end cap.
but i dont want to send him my intake manifold as i live in scotland and it would mean paying shiping twice and its along way.
also new toy out of action for a while.

I did a search and found some pics of intakes that guys had done themselves so i might have a go i have the tooling required.
Does the 04 ds suffer the same problems with the tube collapsing as the earlyer models?

You can buy a new intake from him and have him port it then send it to you. Then you've got a spare to get ported locally, try your own hand at it or who knows what. Mr. HP's porting work is -good-!
