Tires..Stockers gotta go..?
#1
First off, I read these forums daily and being the proud new owner of an all stock 2000 DS..I'm gonna have some questions. I know alot of this stuff has been discussed in past forums so sorry for any repeats or beat to death posts. My first..of probably many questions is in regards to tires/sizes. I want to replace the original stock Kendas with either 22/20 Ohtsu's or either 23/22 Razr's or Holeshot XCT's. Will either of these combinations be better than stock in regards to traction and front end handling...Help me out with any suggestions...

Anyone have any opinions on the Ohtsu's..will the 22" fronts and 20" rears help with the front end problem..or would it be better to go with 23" fronts and 22" rears..Holeshot or Razr?

I just bought 22x11-9 Razr 2's for my DS. They have a massive deep lug, deeper than the holeshots. They hook up great, but all you need to do is drop a size front sprocket to gear it down. Your stockers are only 20's. Hope this helps.

My buddy bought a new baja, on the second ride he punctured the sidewall on the rear oshtu's. They have great traction but they are a soft tire . I have a set of 22/ 20 razr's. They have been a good set up, i'm going to try the razr 2's next
