I FINALLY got some new peg mounts from AC after waiting 3 months... (originally purchased in mid december!)

I finally got around to putting nets on them tonight, to notice they are mising a "net-pocket" (one of the little 3 holed tabs that are welded on to support the nets)

That is the last straw.... i cant deal with the problems anymore. I have Spent numerous hours on the phone with a bunch of yahoos that dont even have records of me every time i call....

I would like to hear from anyone who has had a problem with the pro-pegs. (i beleive there are at least 2 or 3 i know of, but have not heard from them in a long time)

I am going to call them and try to talk to someone high up in the system to put in a complaint about this. If a product is this bad, it shouldnt be on the market for sale....

Did anyone get reimbursed? I think i would rather take the 225 i spent on these and just buy some IMS pegs and some standard Nerfs....

 

X factor? At this point im only going to consider new nerfs if i get a full refund from AC...otherwise its out of the question [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] just spending too much on the DS.

 

sorry roost I got nothing but good to say about AC products.

 

ac has been the best nerfs ive ever owned....all of my bumpers have been perfect...and the only compaint is...the XC grab-bar..it broke easy as a b!tch!!!!

 

what products of thiers have you used with good results? the only thing i have owned from them (and ever will own..) are the pro pegs...

i also heard of people having problems trashing the swing arm skids from them....

i dont think there would be problems with simple installs like bumpers/engine skids...

AC just needs to get thier act together.... the idea for the pro pegs is great (i have even seen a few companies copy it) but AC needs to clean them up and make sure the fit is darn near perfect.... i dont mind tweaking stuff a little bit... but i dont consider cutting/grinding and re welding a "minor tweak" !

 

I got the propeg nerfs and they fit great and have held up great so far.

 

i really like mine, although i did have to make a small bend on the heel guard and redrill one of the holes

 

I mean...back in 01....my AC nerfs for my Warrior slapped on to the bike no prob....then my bumper was perfect...so i got one for my ds....no problem with it either! But then my AC grab bar started to get aluminum tear in it...and DS650rAcEr sat on it and broke it off...LOL...but....**** happens....scrap it![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

 

hoovie you forgot about the ac pro pegs i gave you for your banshee that held up PERFECT and still are...
