does any yfz owner or rider hit nuetral often, like going fron 1st to 2nd or 2nd to first? i read something like this but i wasnt really sure, i have no first hand experience with them. is there any problems that u have noticed or complained about or heard of being complained about since it is a first year quad and all. will the 05 be differnt in anyway other that color? thanks-rider1169

 

I had no problem with the shifter sticking.

 

I get caught in neutral trying to go from first to second most of the time when I try to ride wheelies. It also happens when I try and take off fast. I thought it was because I'm an amateur. I tried lowering my shifter and it helped but I realized when I would downshift the shifter was putting a gash on the frame so I picked it back up.

 

I have had no problems with it.

happened to me quit a bit at first. Then it went away. Im not sure if i just had to learn how to ride the bike or if there was an acctual problem that ended up going away. Ive heard of the same experience happening to many other riders.

 

I guess its just something the engine has to get used too, or you learn how to ride the bike better, even though Ive never encountered this problem.

 

my quad can be in neutral... ill downshift... and it will not go into first... does it all the time... even rolling it back and forth doesnt work.
i also hit neutral going from 2nd to 1st... its almost caused me to roll down a hill a few times... this better go away soon...
