Banshee electrical problem..Need Help???
#1
I'll start from the begining,
I was riding at the dunes at night when I noticed that my head lights were awful dim. then the darn thing just stopped running (shut off like I turned it off at the key). I couldnt get it started again. Had to be towed back to camp (that sucked)
when I got home I checked the stater and noticed that there was alot of rust and a broken connection. I ordered a new stater from Ricky Stater, nothing fancy just a stock stator and flywheel. after installing everything to specs. The banshee started right up no prob.
BUT... when I turned on the lights they didnt seem to be bright they were still dim, even when I raised the RPMs they started to get bright then they went dim again. If i give it very little (I mean very little) throttle they seem to go bright then if I give it a little more throttle they go dim again. What would Cause this????? Would it be the voltage regulator????
please help??
