hey knows, did honda ever make a 4 valve head that would fit on the 250sx jug? i mean, i know id have to put a different timing chain on there, but im not scared to take it apart. even if i had to do mods to the head, i know a couple of people that would love to help with it. also, i hate the carb thats on this thing....its one of those cable choke valve things. i like the simple lever and butterfly choke set up...is there a better/simpler carb i can put on this thing? (doesent run exeptionally well). just wondering what i can do to it....thanks man..

 

No bolt-on head was ever made and I haven't seen or heard of one that was converted either.

I suppose, if you were really looking for a project though, the head from the 250X and 300EX would be the closest thing, since both types of these engines have the same cylinder bore as the 250ES/SX/300.


As for the carb, Mikuni had one a while back that was a "hop-up" part for the TRX300 engines. It will fit on the 250SX and ES, but I do not know who still sells them. May want to jump around on HiLifter's forum boards for some input on it. May want to do some digging for the 4 valve head onversion while you are in there.
