I have some footage that I shot of two stock Bombardier DS650s ice racing against ALOT of modified banshees, and one rare Lonestar ATK 604 quad. Those ATK 6o4 quads were featured in some older DirtWheels magazines, like around 1992.
Anyways, I couldnt tell which was better between the DS650s and the ATK 604, because the ATK was in the middle of the two DS650s the whole time.
That was ofcoarse, until the ATK 604 Quad ran into some hay bails on the corner and flipped.
it was quite fun to watch, the guy didnt get hurt either. I wish I knew how to take footage from a 8mm video camera tape and get some photos out of it to put on my web site.

 

Yes, I remember the ATK quads. They were awesome, but they only made a few of them because the price was 12,000 bucks. It was state of the art, even today and had a full race chassis. It would be nice to see the ATK factory crank out those machines at a reasonable price today.
