Default 700 efi owners, any regrets

I will be buying a machine by the end of april, 700 efi is ranking high on my list, just wondering if any 700 efi owners have any regrets with their purchase, also interested in positive feedback. My 2 brothers have sp 500's, I need to out do them I hope this will do it.

Thanks

if you could wait a little bit longer Kawi will be coming out with their 750 EFI with the IRS option. It will surly dog a 500 HO.

The 500's, if high output, will probably get you on the start, but the EFI will pull right away from them. A good 500 H.O. has good bottom end torque. Let the EFI get broken in good and I think you will get them though. The 700 EFI will definitely out pull and out mud with the best of them. I have had mine a couple of weeks and am loving it. I have almost 100 miles on it already. I love it and would recommend it! It is my first quad, though. I say go for it!

Got my 700 EFI couple of weeks ago too, went up against a 97 scrambler 500 and 04.5 500H.O. , didn't catch the scrambler until 40mile an hour and the 500 H.O. was right beside me. I don't think I did that bad as my machine only has 8 hours on it and barely broke in so I didn't push it for too long. I think the only difference you'll find is when you start changing altitudes and it affects the 500 H.O. and not the 700 EFI. The 700 although will out pull and haul the 500 H.O. but in top speed they are very close if not the same.

My EFI has been great, not a problem to date. I have close to 200 miles on mine. I wouldn't worry about the system screwing up in the water, polaris assured me that it is waterproof. You'll just have to drive one, it's way past words. If you are steping off a Honda, Kawi, or Yamaha you'll love the Polaris for the ride, and just how it drives. Go to your polaris dealer and give it a test!

AnywhereTom,was wondering if the guy with the 04.5 HO has had some mods done to it to be able to hang with you like that ,because from what I have read on this forum the 700 efi is freakin fast and will pull pull wheelies in high range and do 70 mph ,if he hasn"t done any mods to it I am thinking I must of picked a real turd because my 04.5 HO will only do 56 mph flat out and it has 14 hours on it so I would say it is broke in and isn"t going to get any faster.
