Default Tires on a 400 sportsman

Does anyone know if 27" Mudlite tires will fit under a 2002 sportsman without rubbing? Do I have to modify anything? The fronts now are 25-8-12, and the rears are 25-11-10. I want to go with 12" wheels all the way around. Any advice would be helpful before I order.

I dont have any personal experience with 27" tires on my 400 but as long as you stayed with the same widths I think you would be OK. The rears shouldn't have any side clearance issues but the fronts will if you go wider they'll rub on the front shock strut.

Back will be fine, Front?? . I had 27x10x12 on mine (front) but used C series rims on my 02 500, Bigtime rubbing on tie rod ends used HL 1" spacers. Then would rub fenders also so had to beef up springs spacers etc.

Thanks. Will probably go with the 26-9-12 on the front, and hope that they don't rub.
