So what are all the rumors for an 05 Scrammy and other ?'s

How's it going. Here's my story...I want an auto for the ole lady (OK, "SHE" wants an auto), and we really like the V-force. I also want something more trail-friendly and newer than my 87 QZ. At first "I" wanted a DS Baja, then "WE" wanted a V-force, and after talking to the guys at my fav. dealership, I can get a hella sweet deal on a 2003 CR 250, and if I buy a quad at the same time, the deal gets better. They don't sell Bomb's or Kawi's, so what's left is a Scrambler 4X4 or TBlazer 400. I had an 02 Tblazer 250 that I abused and it gave me no trouble, except the rear brakes which were changed for free, so I like the build and stuff.
So my question is: Would it be worth while to wait and see what the 05 model years bring us, or just go ahead with an 04 Scrambler now? What have people heard about the new ones?
And: Are the 628(?) kits reliable enough for a trail quad, even when slogging through the nasty stuff at slow speeds? And just how much are they? I figure with the price of a Scrambler and some good mods I'll still be farther ahead than with a $6500 V-force, plus I'll have 4 wheel drive, which is a big + this time of year in Maine.
Well, thanks in advance!!

I wouldnt go with the 628 kit for trail riding. The 600 kit would be better set up for it. You will have to run about 100 octane gas with the 628, but can get away with premiun with the 600. The 628 also requires a lot more machine work to the cases and cylinder than the 600 does. The 600 kit is under $1000 from what I have heard. Just some FYI. I dont know WHEN polaris will be unvailing the 05 models, but the scram is DEFINATELY in need of a makeover
