Rear disk brake seazing?
#1
Okay this question goes back to 1992, but at the time my 83 250R was still running. We were booting around in winter (snow), I noticed a substantial loss of power and when I would let off the throttle my rear tires would lock up. We would throw snow on it and I think eventually once it cooled down it would work again but only for a bit, until it heated up again.
My questions are as follows
-Any idea what caused this? Warped disk? Driving in snow?
-Me being the bright 14 year old I was that wanted to ride more than fix, took to caliper right off (front brake only on an ATC is not smart!!). Over the last 12 years the caliper assembly is long gone. Other than Ebay, can anybody suggest where I might be able to find another?
