What is one of the first things you did to your engine... I have only got exhaust and k&n filter... What would be the first thing to do, I want to build up my bike to be fast as hell and either a drag racer or MX...? Thanks guys, you Yamaha Guys Kick A$$!!

 

there is a fine line between drag raptors and MX raptors, which one do you prefer, if you want a Craycraft drag bike talk to me, if you want a craycraft 730 for MX PM ubetrun he will have his soon, still dont know how he handles that power on a track... I agree with ridley on this one. It is possible to over-build the engine for mx.

I have a hc stg1 and 11:1 piston with a pipe and K&N. Its a good setup and probably good for around 50-55 hp.

 

GET A JET KIT.

 

Jet kits are a waste imo. It costs around 3 bucks for a pilot. You would have to buy quite a few to justify a 60 dollar kit with a few needles thrown in. Most of which are too small and you will never use.

i suggest 11:1 stage 1 cam, with a minor port and polish. Start with cam, then piston then polish. Just a suggestion.
