Default sqeaking brakes

I just recently bought a 2000 traxter with only 250 miles on it. However the brakes squeak when moving at slow speeds. Is there a fix for this or do I just need to replace the brake pads?

Default sqeaking brakes

Traxters and Quests have very squeaky brakes. Changing brake pads will help. Parts Unlimited has some EBC brake pads that are okay and will cut down on the squeaking. There are also pads from Moose and somebody else available which I have not tried. We have tried changing rotors, difficult and expensive and doesn't work.

There is probably a "best solution" out there but we haven't found it yet.
