Carb Jetting.....can you guys help??
#1
Hey all i have a banshee and i just got new 28PWKs for it and was wondering where i should start with jetting it. On the stockers I should have run a 360-370 main jet. Does anyone know roughly what that will translate over to the Keihin carb?? I jsut need a starting point so i know what area of jets i need to buy.
the mods i have are Old FMF pipes, ported, head milled, k&n air filter, vented lid.
so just a rough guess would be good so i know where to start..thanks

I just put on a set of keihin 28pwk carbs on my banshee. My mods are milled head. bored .020 over light weight piston, ported and polished, trued and welded crank, reeds, K&N filter, vented airbox lid. My Jet settings are I live in midwest near St. Louis what ever the elevation is there.
Mains 146
Pilots 45
air screws 1 1/4 turns out
needle midle clip setting (could stand to raise the clip one notch)
