Sparks and raptor

Default Sparks and raptor

i am purchasing a sparks x-6 with a umi alum airbox and was curious if i should get the dynojet kit. also any experience what the jetting should be.

i dont know anything about sparks system,but i heard if you dont jet with exauhst or slipon you will burn your $#it up. about jetting it should have a recomendation with the exauhst. i got all gytr. good luck

i also heard gytr has the best jet kit available for the raptor. and mine is great. no problems

Just call Scott at Sparks Racing 661-872-4343 and ask him what to jet it too. I dont mess with any screws and mine just with the pipe and airbox mod rips. Be sure to get the Dynojet kit because that is what they use.

thanks guys...i will go with the dynojet..i put that into a bored warrior with a dmc and custom airbox and they worked fine for me...the main reason for the ? is that i see ppl specify 2 jets for ex. 160/165 which i am gathering is for the 2 carbs...but why diff. sizes for each carb?

Different size ports on the intake. If you look at the Raptor the left port is smaller than the right.

Let me make that clearer. The left carb primarily hits the single valve, and the right primarily the right 2. The chamber is all one area but the carbs have a better shot to the repspective locations.
