Looney Tuned Exhaust
#1
My friend just installed his Looney Tuned Exhaust today on his 03 400 EX and what a difference it made !! I had ridden his 400 previously and was unimpressed, but that new dual pipe system and jet kit turned it into a totally new quad. I can't wait til they make on for the DS. One is being worked on according to their website, but not yet ready. Check them out lteracing.com. Has anyone ridden any other quads with this brand of dual pipes on it? if so how did it do and what quad was it?

It is alot louder than stock , but not as loud as a friend's 300EX with a white bros exhaust. It is not so loud that it is overkill, and it sounds GOOD. I definitely recommend it for the sound and the power gain. the kit comes with everything jets air box with relocate equip for the battery and all. The only thing you have to do that is not in the instructions is adjust the needle one clip up or you will bog down at about 3/4 throttle. Only down side is the price about $750.00 for the whole set up.

did i mention the raptor kit doesn't come w/ an aluminum airbox. But they do get a huge hp gain if the websites numbers are correct www.lteracing.com
