Default Dealer did me a favor

Took the Scrammy in for some warranty work on the brakes a couple of weeks ago and then went on Vacation with the quads. We decided to go to Sand Mountain for the day on Sunday so I put on my paddles. Well, I bent down to pull the brake side rear off and 3 of the lug nuts were almost off and the holes were all wallered out!!! Well after I calmed down a bit, I realized what a great opertunity this was, so I just got through ordering new Douglas red labels for the rear!! I even told my wife I was doing it

what makes you think thats the dealers fault?they shouldnt have took the back wheels off to do brake work so it could be your own mistake..

Are you saying that they will leave the wheel on to pull the rear brake assembly apart? Don't think so. They had that wheel off and didn't tighten the lugnuts back up! Now whether I can prove it is a totally different story. I am not even gonna try, that is why I just went ahead and got new rims

i made a mistake once, luckly my rims are still OK... i rode the whole day, and didnt tighten my lug nuts. I hand-tightened them, and started something else, and forgot the tighten them...they were almost off that night when i noticed!! Things could have turned very bad.. Now i check my lugs often!! what did they replace? pads?
unless they replaced the rotor the wheel shouldnt of had to come off.
not saying that they didnt take it off though... maybe you saw them do it.

they were doing a bunch of work withthe rear brakes, pulled the pads cleaned all around, They overgreased the rear carrier bearing and got grease and sand in the brake pads and rotor. It was a real mess
