I'm looking at an '04 Grizzly, '04 Arctic Cat 500 and a Polaris Sportsman 500HO.

Besides looking better than the other two, why should I buy the Grizzly?

because it is a bigger cc and has more power but i would rather have the poolaris for more reliability but then again i would buy a 700

 

Do you really think/know that the Polaris is more realiable? This is the information that I'm really looking for.

Also, I'd try and compare the Grizzly to SP600/700, but they are more money than I've got to spend.

When it comes to utility quads.....most likely you need to go Polaris. Polaris is leading the industry in work quads, they have a very nice ride and plenty of power, and yes the reliability is there too. The new efi seems great too. Seriously think about a Polaris, other quads are good too, and have the power, but no where near the ride, in my opinion.

 

GET the grizz and dont think twice// you will be happy u did

 

For utility i would go with polaris.
The SP is the mudding king and a great work horse

 

I agree with BlackRaptor, you can't go wrong with Sportsmans

 

the grizz is definately better in the mud than the sportsman

If you put the same kind of mud tires on each and given their suspension (IRS) and ground clearance are very similar I’d say having lighter weight or more power would be an advantage, and the Grizzly has both (over the 500HO). Now if you start talking about towing, I’d have to say the heavier Polaris models will out-do the Grizzly in that department since extra weight is important for traction on firmer surfaces (than mud)…
