Okay, i got a quick question. In yall's opinion which is better, a 250ex or a blaster? I used to have a 93 300ex and i sold it, but now that its gone i cant stand not having something to ride. I would like to buy a 400ex but my money is tight right now, still in college. So any opinions/info would be helpful. Oh yeah, i mostly trail ride and play race every now and again.

If you were used to a 300ex than you probably would be very dissapointed in the 250. It is significantly slower than the 300 and smaller as well. A blaster is faster than both of them and gets more power from modifications. I'd go with a blaster.

 

The blaster is faster than the 250EX and it does all right on trails. plus they make tons of mods for them so when you want to increase your power it is really easy. the only problem is that the blaster is a 2 stroke so it will need a rebuild every once and a while. but still it is a good over all maching that is good at almost evrything except mudding. although i have seen people do it. blasters seem to be a little bit more avaviliable used than the 250EX. have fun on what ever you decide to get

 

i'd go with the Blaster. you could consider a Raptor 350 though. Lil' more power and not too expensive. I'm not positive on a price on a Raptor 350 though i think it is around 4500???
