what type of silicone to seal wire connection?

Default what type of silicone to seal wire connection?

i am replacing my fan switch today and i need to seal the connections with silicone. I just dont know what type of silicone to use to seal it.

About any quality 100% silicone should work good. I used rtv blue silicone from napa last time, but I have used household clear before also with good results.

Default what type of silicone to seal wire connection?

I have always used fingernail polish to insulate exposed wires after a splice... it really works.
