Default Why is my DS hard to start

My ds is so hard to get first cranked. I have to choke and crank and then give it a little gas for it to start when cold, but after its warmed up it cranks right up. It takes probably 30 seconds to get started. BTY the way it has KN filter graydon full exhaust, ron woods cdi, and dynojet kit.

Try giving the air idle screw a quarter turn richer if it seems to be "cold blooded". That seemed to help mine tremendously.

I put a 45 pilot (stock in a 2000 was a 37.5) in my 2000 and it always fired within the first few seconds. second make sure plugs are not fouled a bit. I would try a 45 pilot though.
