The cap for the plug wire is toast!

Is it possible to put a new cap on the wire, or do I need to get the entire thing, coil and all?

I know I have seen in the auto stores, replacement caps, but can I use them for the honda?

This is for a 250r. Please help!

It is off. That is why I need a replacement cap.

I was thinking of going to the auto parts store and getting a replacement. I was wondering if this would work?

I called the local dealer. the coil/wire assembly is $40. And a replacement cap is $20. But they do not have either in stock.

If the cap does not screw off, cut it off and go get a NGK end cap. They cost about $5-$6.

Actually it pulls off pretty easy, at least this one did.

Thanks. I will go to the store today and get one.

I did the exact same thing to my bike. I bought a new cap that just screws back into the plug wire. It was less than $5. I fixed it about four months ago and haven't had a problem since. Try another dealer or an auto parts store.
