My friend wants to get a blaster and he was wondering what the top speed of one is? And what are some good mods to do to it? Also what brands of mods?

 

top speed, like 56. mods- pipe, intake filter, jet it

 

top speed isnt really a big deal unless ur doing alot of straight strech riding, if he wants a fun peppy bike go with it, i kno i love mine

 

topend varies between 55-60mph. pipe adds a lot for these lighwieght 2-strokes. toomey b-1 is the best i feel

 

what rider1169 said, i had a toomey on my 03 blaster and i used to smoke his blaster

 

Low 50's. One of the magazines just had a test and was 51/52 mph

 

I know for a fact that you can do 50mph with a blaster because i was riding mine and my my friend was doing around 50mph in his car and i was in front of him riding my blaster. If you want to find out how fast yours is get a radar or do the dangerous part like i did.

 

Topped mine out at 68 today. My wife was following in the car. I was headed uphill most of the way, but when i topped the hill i had to slow down due to a truck going a little slower than me. If i would have kept on it down the hill i would have hit 70 easily.

Of course....mine isnt stock. Im not sure if it has a sprocket on it or not. It had all of the mods when i bought it.... i just had to put it together.

Im gonna sell it here soon. Its just too fast for the wooded area that we live in.
