i have a fuel filter on their, anything else to prevent clogged carb? what do i need to clean? thanks

 

You're a little shy on details. Do you have some problem or just want to prevent one?

 

if your carb is dirty, you must be useing a metal gas can.. ditch it and buy a plastic one The new gasohol attracts water, then rusts out metal cans! (and metal tanks on older bikes

well, i am filling it up with a steel can, i wonder if thats the problem.

it seems to sputter or hesitate while shiftin gears, it seems i constantly have it floored, and have to wait a couple secs or so for it to come on hard. Sometimes i'll punch it and get a 1-2 second delay before it pegs to full throttle, as if theres derbis or something then gets cleared and i get full throttle. thanks again fo rany help.

 

i think JRM ment gas can not tank, there should be a screen on the petock stem try takeing that out and se if there is crud on it. Is your can older and can you see any rust in it? you might to want to put a inline filter on the lint to make shure no dirt gets to the carb because it is not fun cleaning one out (nor cheep to replace)
