I am looking at purchasing a 2003 AC 400 and I am wondering if $3800 is a good price, it has 160 miles on it. I was also wondering if this a good machine to purchase for a first time buyer? Thank to all for the info

 

As long as the rest of the machine doesn't look beat up. I think that is an excellent price. I paid $4800 for mine new OTD witha 2500# warn winch installed.

At 126 miles its right at the end of its breakin so as long as it hasn't been ridden like it was stolen during the 126miles I would grab it.

As far as being good for a first time buyer that would depend on how you planned on using it? Keep in mind the 400 AC is NOT a sport quad its a utility quad. It will get up to about 45-50mph tops and has plenty of torque for heavy loads, rock crawling, etc.
