I just put a DG exhaust(mistake), K&N filter, Webb cam, and dyno jet kit in my 99 warrior. The dyno jet kit came with #136,140,144.& 150 jet sizes. I started at 150 and the bike would't rev. Now I've come all the way down to 136 and it revs pretty good but still cuts out on top end like it may be flooding, Does anyone think maybe air box modifications would help? I tried without the snorkel and it seemed better. the next thing is to drill holes in the air box and put them little 1" filters. I dont mud ride but somtimes the ground is wet. any other suggestions?

Why do you say the DG exhaust was a mistake?

Because I don't like the sound or performance of the DG. The only thing I like about it is that it came with a headpipe.

Hey man i got a 2000 Warrior.
I have a K&N filter with Outerwear,Supertrapp IDS 2 exhaust system, and i put the 150 jet in mine.At first at full throttle it would kinda cut out but it doesnt do that anymore.Runs good now.I dont know how your running a 136?Seems like it would be lean to me!But if when you took the snorkel off and it ran better that would mean that it is runnin rich.Anybody else got any ideas!

On my Warrior I got another lid and cut it in half. That fixed my jetting problem. Now it runs best with the 144 main. But another problem was that when I'd get on it and let off it would stumble, spit, and run terrible for a little bit before it would clean up. I chased this problem for a while. Ended up dropping the needle two notches and now it runs great. Next thing is to try the 150 main back in it. See how it performs.

to start with i real don't care for the dynojet kits i've had better luck working out the jeting the old way. for your set up you need to run a 147.5 main and move your needle up one slot. also put two of the 1" filters in the lid on the right side away from the filter.also if you have the supertrapp style spark arrestor on it run about 8 disks. if its to loud for you you can tak a couple out but it will hurt top end power.
