Black C series wheels for Camo P-650
#1
Has anybody seen or gotten an ITP C series wheel in "black"? I have a camo bike and am looking for a good set of rims to go with my Bighorn Radials. I now have them mounted on the stockers, but am less than confident that with the extra weight of the new tires (over stock) that I won't have problems with them bending in the future. Any recommendations on wheels that are balck would be appreciated as would sources.

I have a set if black powder coated ITP C-series wheels on my camo 650 and they look great with camo. Had them for over a year now and they still look like new. I don't have a picture to send you but Mathew at atv outfitters could send you one. Just let me know and I'll get you his phone#.

the paint or powder coat seems to hold up well. I ride with a guy that has ATRs and black "C's" on his P-700 CAMO. They are a glossy finish, NOT a dull one.
I would like black 4 spoke "C's"(type 5/6). I think THOSE would look too good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a set of them as well They look great with my green as well. There is a picture in my gallery. I got them off of ebay when I bought my tires & wheels. They didn't have the silver ones available in the same warehouse that had the tires so I got the black ones and I like them!

Tonerpuke; Forgot, they do come from ITP powder coated Mathew can e-mail you a picture. Also how do you like the Bighorn radials? I have a set of bearclaws and the stock dunflops, I'm still trying to wear them out so I can get a new set!!! I only use the bearclaws in the winter or if I go on a 4-wheeling trip.

I like the bighorns well as long as I don't get above 20 mph. I had them out a couple of days ago for my first ride and I had terrain from rocks, hardpack, mud and snow and was very impressed with the stability and ride quality. Overall, they are a big improvement over the stockers. My big problem is that they are horribly unbalanced and unusable over about 30 MPH with handlebar shaking. I have contacted Maxxis and they are aware that the Bighorns out now are not running well and are shaking. They are supposed to swap me out in mid June with some that I can stand to ride. At this point, I cannot recommend them due to this problem and have serious doubts as to their ability to get the bad tires out of the supply chain. You would never know if you got good tires or not until you ran them and this is too big a purchase to be guessing with not to mention the aggrivation.
