Can anybody tell me which quad would be quicker in a short drag?
I know I can pull a raptor 660 for sure on my YFZ, but was just wondering how it would pan out if the raptor was a 686? This is in a short drag only..no longer than 100 or 120 yards

Race one and find out. Let us know what happens. There are to many variables to say who would win. We could debate for days.

 

Depends on a several differnt varibles, but in most cases with equal riders the 686 will take you. I know I can take a piped, cam mod, YFZ in almost every situation of a drag race.

But it depends on rider, terrain, and so on and so forth.

 

i had a raptor 660 and then my dad bought a 450 and the 450 blows the door of the raptor.

 

From expierence I have seen the YFZ win most of the time (pipe, cam mod) against the 686 in a drag no longer than 200ft.

 

As have I. But we might need to know the specs of the 686, cause Kens (Yamaha660R) is the real deal, and I wouldnt be suprised if it could take an everyday 450.

 

It depends what 686 it is.
