I have new pads for the rear brake on my warrior and the piston does not retract far enough to allow the thickness of the new pads to go over the disc, can they be adjusted?????

thanks, that did the trick, the bolt was seized at first and I was afraid of ruining something.
NOw my question is the manual says to put the pads in with the arrow facing the right direction. I am using gasfer pads and can find any differance between the two???? does the manual apply to all pad replacements????

I would suggest using comon sense because if you go by the book sometimes things can get really complicated when its just easy as cake.
But make sure you check the back of the pads you removed, the one that is located at the piston should have a metal plate on its back remove it and place it on the new pads. The easiest way to change pads is to do the steps you did to remove em just backwards.
If you are concerned about the pads bieng the same dont worry its supposed to be that way I have EBC SV pads on mine and its the same exact thing just dif. Manufacturer and higher quality.Oh and BTW make sure the metal plate is facing the piston. Hope this helps
