I think since Atvs are considered a recreational vehicle, that it should have warnings etc.... but since dirtbikes are for closed course competition, you assume all responsibility of your actions. Also that would explain why ATVs have a manufacturers warrenty and dirtbikes dont.

 

and that dirt bikes engine is only a 125cc

 

yea but a yz125 can cream the 400s or even higher ccs

 

its because those kind of rules are made by people who have no idea what an atv or dirtbike is like.

 

Hey a 125 two stroke dirtbike like a YZ, RM, KX, or CR will do an easy 75.

 

Ok when it comes to being closed course then what about the banshee? or the old 250r's Im sure that they were ment for closed competition use just like the dirt bikes were.

 

yea i know it can still go fast but somthing about the size of the engine has to do with there laws, but yea probobly they have never ridden one
