Default Handlebars - As HIGH as I can get...

I want to put some pro tapers on my DS and I need a good tall bar clamp. I don't really want to put a new steering stem on her but I am considering it. How high can I go with just a clamp kit? Any thoughts? Plus where can I get the parts I need. I already have the bars.

The least expensive way is to pull the steering stem and take it to a machine shop that you trust and have them lengthen it. Any competent shop should be able to do it for under $40~50.
