Default Wolverine floorboards, overfenders??Need mud protection

I love my wolverine but as many people one here have said, you can't go riding without getting your legs completely covered with mud. I know it's not a big deal, as I should expect to get muddy, but my buddy rode through the same mud holes on his eiger and was barely dirty. Does anyone have any pics of their wolverine with fender extenders or floorboards? Any opinions on what's better? Thanks

I did not like the CATFISH like look of the Moose fender extenders, so I made a set of INNER
fenders out of some polycarbonate sheeting (see pics) drilled some holes for zipties(temporarily)
to see how they worked, or if they hit anything and slapped em on.
They worked a lot better than I thought they would.
And cleaning the engine is a snap now that the mud is re-directed away from it.

I also put mudflaps under the front fenders, which keeps my legs much cleaner.
Hope this helps.

peace
scaboy

See my picture page. The red fenders have OEM extensions, and the green ones have Moose extensions which I trimmed to suit me, appearance wise.

They look good Lotus! Do you know where I could get the OEM overfenders? I thought about getting the Moose ones, but don't want to risk butchering them up while trimming them. Do these offer significant mud and splash protection?

The OEM ones are very hard to find. Sometimes they come across Ebay, but they get ridiculous prices.

Both offer about the same amount of protection, which is not great, but better than none at all. With my spacers and offset wheels, when I hit water at speed, I get pretty wet.

Save your money, I have overfenders and I still get wet. I find that most of the water and mud come from the inside infront of the motor.
