Default Retorqueing cylinder nuts after rebuild?

Got my Scram top end back together the other day and can't remember if I'm supposed to retorque the nuts on the jug while it's warm or after riding it and then letting it cool off again and then retightening them after it's cooled down again. I think it's the first. Been a while since the last rebuild. Can one of you guys tell me which one it is? Thanks again.

I have always let the motor completely cool down, usually overnight before retorqueing them.

i wouldn't let the trigger open than 1/4 the first hour,,,let it
warm up good with well cooling effiency trough the system.
the ring must seal well before open it up,,,i always drop assembly oil in the gas tank after a rebuild.
retorque the cylinder after the couples of first warm up before
try it out on the long fields.

Thanks for the help guys. I did mix in some oil with the first tank of gas. I haven't ridden it yet, but did let it idle for a few minutes for the last few days. I just firgured out that I need to drain all of the gas back out of the fuel tank as I mixed it 20:1 instead of 40:1 for the break in period(it's been a while since I last tore it down), but other than that, another successful rebuild. Oh, and Bubba, that port job worked out great. Thanks again.
