I am having thoughts of making a 600 cc motorcycle engine powered quad for fun.
I was planning on using a banshee frame with an extended swing arm.

I have a TIG and Mig welder and the usual stuff to build monster garage stuff.

I was wondering if anyone has a web site out there who has done this and I can see some pics.

Why stop at 600cc when there are so many GSX-R 750s and ZX7s out there. Or any current litre bike engine if you can take 80lb/ft of torque.

I don't know if I'll find a rolling chassis or not. I may have to piece one together from parts.

 

Yep we also are getting ready (slowly) to build a 600cc quad [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] we have a xr600 motor, frotn 400ex shock,a arms, kind of a frame LOL it is too bent to use [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] got the pipe & ALL the motor goodies, we are gonna send it to our machinist & have him do some magic on it when we get reaady to do this build!! There have been a few monster creations from people on the forums. Not sure about any pics. R-1 in a Raptor frame. and several 600motors in 400ex frames. even an Xr650 in a warrior(nicknamed the Donkey). He has pics of the Donkey, and his forum name is Xr650warrior.
