Pred-90 - Running Board / Safety increase....
#1
During the last 4 rides of our Pred-90, I noticed my son's feet sometimes slides off its running boards. I compared his running boards to the running boards on my AC 500i unit and noticed our Pred-90 doesn't have an outer edge. This "small" outer edge catches the foot as it slides sideways and also allows the rider to "feel" where the outer edge of the running board is. Each of our kids must learn to squeeze their legs while riding but in slow relax mod or going over rough ground, the feet can slide around very easily. Too easily for my comfort zone.
As a possible fix our our Pred-90, I whipped up a litte design improvement idea. I would greatly appreciate if you could review - Press Here - and provide your thoughts. Perhaps it's an overkill, perhaps there's something better, etc.?? Just trying to find a "proactive fix" before he gets hurt with its current factory design.
Thanks for your review & feedback thoughts.

Michael had the same problem on his new AC 50 quad. I took a piece of quarter inch thick plastic which was made into an L shape and bolted it onto his running boards. Look at some of his pictures on my profile. He loves them. Now he can really dig his feet into them. Look at the pic. of him going thru the field , side view.

What a simple and excellent idea. I like it. Thanks for a more "simplified" way of doing it. And your comment about "the improvement works great". I'll try to clone your idea on our Pred-90.
