I have a 1995 yamaha blaster and i am thinking about getting a trinity 265 kit for my blaster. I was wondering if that would be reliable and if the piston would go every month. And if it would run hot then how about the cooling kit to make it water cooled??I ride mainly woods and plan to race Mx and some local harescrambles.Thanx

Don't go bigger than the 240 kit or you will have overheating problems unless your just drag racing or dune riding. The CT240 kit is what I got and it came with everything except the silencer! It is great for in the woods and it rocks!

240 will do about 70 with a 14tooth front.

CT does great work, Trinty sucks. That's what pretty much everyone on the forum says.

As for rebuilding.

2 strokes almost need rebuilt after every 3 months of hard riding. It's a good idea to clean your top end and put a new piston in every summer.

As for the 10cc difference, i think it's more like a 232 kit..

Hey hondasuck66 you you put a 300ex up against a trx250r. NO! cc's dont always mean its a fast design. The blaster engine has been around for a long time and the Ct240 kit is what I think the best value mod you can get for the dollar!

Will it keep up with 250's? why it wil probably smoke them. Mine can and all I have is pipe and reeds with 195cc bore. Just to prove that its ALL RIDER and a little 50 ccs wont make a diff. If they were the big of a deal, then why does the big bad 660 raptor still lose to a little 12 year old outdated 350 banshee? theres 310 cc's their, now thats a big difference! And no its not cause the banshees a twin and the raptor is a single. (to all you morons: twin cylinders doesnt equal twice as much power hehe.
