Default What holds the tail light (AC 500 2004) onto the rear plastic?

My tail light was knocked off the other day and I'm not sure what was used to hold it into place. All I could find was a couple of star washers. The Tail light has 2 plug like things on it, Is there some sort of clip that fits on these plugs? Or are there some sort of screws?

Thanks in advance.

The tail light base is held on to the fender with the two "plug like things" and two course thread screws inserted from the fender to the base. They do have the semi-sharp star washers on these screws. The tail light cover is held on to the base with two long machine screws.

Course screws? Hrmn.. the hole in the head light base is smooth, no sign of threads.. Maybe it's completely stripped out? Odd..

Thanks.

What I mean is, the holes where the screws would have been in, do not show any sign of having a screw in them....
