Thinking of getting an 4WD Outlander 330 for my wife. What's a good price for a new (but 04') model? I think the 05's are coming out soon so maybe they will deal?

 

I am looking at buy the Outlander, too. They are 5299, here in Ca, for a 400. They are the same weight, so why wouldn't you go with the 400?

 

The price is normally much less for the 330, and my wife just doesn't need the power.

 

The 400 has extra oomph to get over those Hills.

Also, much better resale on the Larger motor!

 

True & True. Hmmm, maybe I need the 400? Was just thinking that I would get a much better deal on the 330 and that it would be plenty of power for her.

 

The 330 also has a lot more vibration than the 400, from what I read.

 

Price is always a atractive point on a TOY. I bought a used snowmobile with a 600cc engine. Way too much power at first, but within 3 months I was looking for more.
Same thing will happen with that quad. The 330 will seem good at first, but you will quickly be looking for mods to make more power. Then you may regret not spending the few extra bucks.

Bought a 330 4 x 4 this weekend in Michigan. 5109.50 OTD and that was with a mirror. Sold a 2004 Magnum 330 4 x 4. No need for the the 400, my brother bought this exact machine machine this past Christmas, 52 mph. Thats plenty for a utlity quad.
