I just had my new Skat-Trak 22x11x10 9 paddle extreme's mounted on my Douglas .190 wheels. My paddles I'm replaceing are the Kenda Gecko's on the same Douglas wheels. Now I knew the Kecko's were heavy, but I had no idea they were that heavy.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img] In case anybody was wondering here is what I found:
Stock wheel and tire-------------------------------------------------------------18lbs
Gecko 21x11x10 tire and Douglas .190 wheel------------------------------21lbs
Skat-Track 22x11x10 9 paddle extreme and Douglas .190 wheel------16lbs
Now this was performed on a good quality digital scale. All wheels and tires were done on the same scale. You may get a little different reading on your scale, but the differences should be the same.

You will see a huge improvement on the hill with those haulers as well. I went to a 22x11x10 8 paddle for a bit more wheel spin with the new mods and I can hold 3rd gear in the power band the whole way up the saddle of sand mtn.

Hey by the way are you going down for memorial day? I live in ogden as well. Where do you live we might be close and don't even know it. We are headed down thursday night. Majorecho will be coming down with the turbo 733 and mario will be there with the 720 rocket it should be fun. We will be camping at the mountain towards the back so we are a bit out of the crazyness.

 

lol i don't even wanna know wat mine weigh, all i know is they're both heavy, but i know my excavators will outlast any other tires like a razr or holeshot

DSaholic: There is a big group of us going to ST. Anthony for the holiday. I would love to see major's turbo and mario's 720 run, but it gets a little crazy around Sand Mountain for all the little one's.
